Picture of Paul and Rosalee Ulrich

Paul Ulrich was born in Kansas and grew up on a farm outside Baldwin. He has a masters degree in Speech Pathology from Wichita State University as well as a BA in German and French from Baker University. He served one tour in Vietnam and spent 16 years in the Colorado National Guard.

Paul and his wife Rosalee moved to Denver in 1979, after Rosalee got a position with The Denver Post. He has been a speech pathologist with Westminster School District #50 since 1980. Rosalee is still with The Post as an assistant copy desk chief.

Paul has a love of the outdoors and "rockhounding". Over the past few years, he has turned this love of rocks into a jewelry making business. Often, Paul collects his own specimens in the mountains and prairies of the MidWest and shapes them in his shop. He also frequents gem and mineral shows, looking for unique pieces. He then wire wraps them in gold filled and sterling silver wire. The result is a one-of-a-kind pendant or set of earrings that anyone would be proud to wear.

Rosalee was also born in Kansas. She grew up in the farming community of Baldwin City, KS. She also attended Baker University and attained a degree in business administration. She was a press aide to Bob Dole in Washington DC, while Paul was serving in Vietnam

Rosalee also has a knack for making jewelry. Her work also emphasizes natural stone and semi-precious gems. Like Paul's work, each piece is handcrafted and totally unique.
